BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — After months of exploring the community, building meaningful connections, and growing as leaders, the Leadership Bowling Green Class of 2026 officially joined a distinguished network of changemakers dedicated to shaping the future of Bowling Green and South Central Kentucky. The group celebrated its graduation with an evening of recognition, reflection, and celebration alongside Chamber leadership, alumni, sponsors, family, and friends.

For more than three decades, Leadership Bowling Green has brought together professionals who are committed to making a lasting impact in South Central Kentucky. Throughout the year, participants immersed themselves in experiences that deepened their understanding of the region while strengthening relationships across industries and organizations. According to a report in the Lane Report, the initiative is operated by the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce.

The class included leaders from business, education, healthcare, government, and nonprofit organizations—each bringing unique perspectives and a shared dedication to serving the community. Heath Holloman with Murphy Construction Group received the prestigious Bart Hagerman Leadership Award, recognizing outstanding leadership, commitment, and engagement throughout the program year. Program leadership came from Chamber-affiliated volunteers Kelsey Crowe with SKY Property Management, who served as chair, and Joe Morel with Franklin Bank & Trust Company, who served as co-chair.

Participants gain valuable insights into the region's strengths, challenges, and opportunities while developing the skills and connections needed to drive progress both personally and professionally. As the fourth largest chamber in Kentucky, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce serves as a premier business advocate for its more than 1,300 partners and is the driving force for economic development in South Central Kentucky.
