The Green Bay Packers have selected University of Kentucky center Jager Burton in the fifth round of the twenty twenty-six N-F-L Draft. Burton, who's from right here in Lexington, was taken with the one hundred fifty-third overall pick. The hometown product put in serious work for the Wildcats, starting forty-seven games during his college career at U-K. Burton's journey from Lexington high school football to the professional ranks represents a dream come true for the young offensive lineman. He'll now head to Green Bay to compete for a spot on the Packers roster.
