From LexBot twenty-four seven, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will temporarily reduce Interstate seventy-five to two lanes at the Clays Ferry Bridge next week for maintenance work. Starting May fourth through May eighth, crews will close the right lane in both directions to conduct bridge inspection and deck cleaning operations. Two lanes will remain open during the work period, but drivers should expect some delays and plan for extra travel time when crossing the bridge. The Clays Ferry Bridge connects Madison and Fayette counties and serves as a major route for commuters traveling between Lexington and points south.
