LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Global piping products supplier ISCO Industries officially opened its new $12.75 million manufacturing facility on Johnsontown Road, marking a significant expansion of the company's Louisville footprint and doubling its current operations in the region.

The project is expected to create 50 full-time jobs while enhancing the company's fabrication capabilities. According to an announcement from Governor Andy Beshear's office, the investment represents a continued commitment by the Louisville-based manufacturer to grow its operations.

ISCO Industries, established in 1962, is a family-owned provider of high-density polyethylene piping solutions serving water, wastewater, drainage, and industrial applications across North America. The company maintains its headquarters at 100 Witherspoon Street and operates its current fabrication facility at Louisville Riverport, where it employs approximately 75 people.

"ISCO is proud to make an investment in innovation here in Kentucky," said Mark Kirchdorfer, president of ISCO Industries. "As we prepare for future growth, we will continually invest back into the business."

Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg highlighted the company's economic impact on the community. "We are proud to celebrate ISCO Industries' expansion," Greenberg said. "Their investment not only underscores their commitment to the South Louisville community but also brings 50 new, well-paying jobs, further bolstering our reputation as a thriving manufacturing city."

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved a 10-year incentive agreement with the company under the Kentucky Business Investment program, which can provide up to $450,000 in tax incentives based on the company's investment and job creation targets.
