Kentucky Horse Park reaches 2.3M visitors as park expands sponsorships
LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky Horse Park announced it welcomed more than 2.3 million visitors and participants annually to its world-class equestrian facilities and nearly 200 annual events, underscoring the facility's growing importance as a tourism and sports destination.
The park, owned and operated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, announced new corporate partnerships that will bolster operations and visitor amenities. VisitLEX has become the sponsor of the Horse Drawn Trolley Tours and the upcoming Uma no Kokoro Exhibit at the International Museum of the Horse, while John Deere and Kraft Horse Walker were added as sponsors of the Show Office and Stables at the Hall of Champions, respectively. FireHorse Rescue Kits also joined as sponsor of fire rescue kits in attraction barns.
The park's 1,200-acre working farm houses approximately 75 resident horses representing 30 different breeds, while serving as a competition venue for major international equestrian events. Sponsors help fund the park's annual operating expenses, provide visitor amenities, and support resources for the equine team, according to the announcement.
The park hosts more than 80 shows, exhibitions, and competitions annually, including regional, national, and international championships. The facility also houses the International Museum of the Horse, a Smithsonian Affiliate and the world's largest equestrian museum.
Sponsors receive branding and visibility exposure throughout the park, on its website, social media pages, and through unique activations reaching visitors on an annualized basis. For more information on sponsorship opportunities, visit kyhorsepark.com or contact the park.
