LEXINGTON, Ky. — McBrayer PLLC, one of Kentucky's most prominent law firms, has named Colby Blair director of operations, a move the 63-year-old firm says reflects its commitment to enhanced client service delivery and organizational growth.

Blair will oversee the alignment of people, processes and partners across the firm's operations, allowing attorneys to focus on client advisory work, risk management and litigation. The appointment adds to McBrayer's executive leadership structure alongside its chief financial officer, chief human resources officer and chief marketing officer—a corporate-style management model the firm says reflects how its clients operate.

"As McBrayer continues to grow, his addition represents a strategic investment in the firm's executive leadership team," according to the firm. "This structure aligns more closely with how clients operate and strengthens the firm's mission to deliver a more consistent, coordinated experience for clients."

Blair brings more than 20 years of experience in financial and operational leadership. The Owensboro native relocated to Lexington to attend Transylvania University and maintains active community involvement. He is a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and serves on the board of the Newman Foundation. He has been married 28 years to Heather Adams-Blair, a professor at Eastern Kentucky University, and has two children.
