LEXINGTON, Ky. — Lexington police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred in late March at a nightclub on Athens Boonesboro Road.

Dairion Morgan, 33, was arrested on June 3 and charged with first-degree assault, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, felon in possession of a handgun, and unrelated charges. Morgan is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.

The shooting occurred at approximately 2:26 a.m. on March 29 at the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen's Club in the 5000 block of Athens Boonesboro Road. When officers arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
