
McBrayer PLLC adds federal prosecutor with white-collar expertise
LEXINGTON, Ky. — McBrayer PLLC announced the addition of attorney Stephanie Zimdahl, who brings nearly two decades of federal prosecution experience to the firm's litigation and compliance practices.
Zimdahl joins the downtown Lexington law firm, which has served Kentucky's business community since 1963, as a member focused on healthcare compliance, government investigations, white-collar defense, and complex litigation. She will counsel clients facing government scrutiny, internal investigations, and high-stakes disputes, particularly in highly regulated industries.
Before joining McBrayer, Zimdahl served nearly 17 years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois (Chicago) and the Western District of Kentucky. She spent eight years as Deputy Criminal Chief of the Economic, Cyber, and Healthcare Fraud Section, where she led complex investigations involving financial crimes, healthcare fraud, and cyber-related offenses.
Her practice areas include government and internal investigations, white-collar defense, healthcare fraud and regulatory enforcement, employment-related investigations, professional liability defense, and complex business litigation. She holds a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law.
