LEXINGTON, Ky. — Quantrell Subaru has completed a three-year commitment to support Lexington's high-need elementary schools by delivering $36,000 worth of supplies to six additional schools as part of the national Adopt a Classroom initiative.

The latest donation, according to Fayette County Public Schools, benefited Booker T. Washington, Cardinal Valley, Deep Springs, Lansdowne, Millcreek, and Tates Creek elementary schools. Each school received $6,000 in supplies to kick off the 2026-27 school year.

Brentley Jones, general manager of Quantrell Subaru, said the dealership made the investment to help teachers and students begin the school year with needed resources. "When we invest in our local schools, we're investing in the future of Lexington," Jones said.

The donation concluded Quantrell's pledge to supply 16 of Lexington's highest-need elementary schools over three years. Earlier recipients included Arlington, Breckenridge, Coventry Oak, Harrison, James Lane Allen, Mary Todd, Northern, Russell Cave, William Wells Brown, and Yates elementaries. The dealership also selected Breckenridge Elementary as its "Subaru Loves Learning" partner this year, donating approximately 50 boxes of supplies to that school.

The effort marks part of a broader community push to support classroom supplies for the upcoming school year. The Fayette County Public Schools district recently launched the Classroom Essentials Fund with a $500,000 commitment to support classroom and instructional needs for 2026-27.
