LEXINGTON, Ky. — Sports apparel and merchandise retailer Rally House has expanded its Lexington footprint with the opening of a third location at Woodhill Circle Plaza, according to The Lane Report.

The new store, located at 1555 E. New Circle Road, Suite 118, joins existing Rally House locations at Hamburg Pavilion and Fayette Mall. The expansion gives the family-owned retailer nine locations in Kentucky as part of its national network of more than 320 stores across 30 states.

The Woodhill Circle Plaza location carries officially licensed apparel, hats, accessories, gifts and home décor representing NCAA, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and MLS teams. The store features merchandise for college teams including the Kentucky Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, Eastern Kentucky Colonels and Transylvania Pioneers, as well as professional teams including the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds and Tennessee Titans. The store also offers Lexington- and Kentucky-themed products.

"We're excited to open another Rally House in Lexington and become part of a community where university pride runs deep," Dana Lewis, vice president of merchandising at Rally House, said in a statement. "Kentucky is home to some of the most passionate college sports fans in the country, and that pride is such an important part of what makes this state special."

Rally House, which recently reached 300 store locations, began as a Kansas-based mail-order business in 1989 before expanding into a national sports retail leader. The new Lexington location is positioned near the University of Kentucky and sits on New Circle Road, a high-traffic thoroughfare. Woodhill Circle Plaza is anchored by Office Depot, HomeGoods, Tile Shop and Dollar Tree.

The Woodhill Circle Plaza store operates from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
