Over on R Lexington right now, people are talking about a serious incident at Tates Creek Middle School where a student was found with a handgun on campus.

Yeah, and folks in the comments are really focused on accountability here. One resident made a strong point that if this gun belonged to the kid's parents, they should face charges for not securing their firearm properly.

That comment got a lot of support too. Another gun owner chimed in agreeing, saying rights come with responsibilities. There's definitely frustration that this keeps happening.

What struck me was someone questioning the school's response letter, basically saying you can't just take a kid's word that they didn't mean to harm anyone. People want real answers about how this happened.

On a much lighter note, the community is also celebrating Meatball Monday today. Someone shared what looks like a photo of their dog, and honestly, it's exactly the kind of wholesome content we all need.
