Reddit Roundup
R Lexington has been buzzing about a major manhunt that wrapped up this morning.
Yeah, started with a bank robbery down in Berea that turned deadly, then a high-speed chase up Interstate seventy-five.
Two people killed over what one commenter said was only seven hundred dollars. Suspect was caught near Bryan Station Road.
Someone made a good point about how rare bank robberies are these days. Most of the cash isn't even kept in branches anymore.
On a completely different note, birdwatchers are having a field day right now with spring migration.
Peak season apparently. Someone spotted a scarlet tanager, which I guess is pretty special around here.
Hold on, we've got someone calling in about this birdwatching thing.
So I heard the sound of one of those tanagers but never actually saw it. Spent the rest of the day staring super hard at every single cardinal I came across, trying to spot another one.
That's dedication right there.
Nothing like a rare bird sighting to turn you into a full detective.
That's what the neighborhood is talking about this morning. More local buzz coming up.
