According to the checklist, students should prioritize acing their finals, which run May 4-7 following reading days April 30-May 1. The university emphasizes that students should stay organized, plan ahead and take advantage of campus study resources. Students are also encouraged to meet with academic advisors to ensure they remain on track and properly positioned for the next semester.

Administrative tasks are equally important. Registration for Summer and Fall 2026 is already open, and students are urged to lock in their schedules now. The university also stresses the importance of completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if not already done, as financial aid is not automatic. Students must return all library materials to William T. Young Library and other campus locations to avoid fines.

For students living on campus, important deadlines loom. Students must make residence hall move-out appointments through myUK, with all residence halls closing at noon May 9.
