Woman arrested after shooting on Leestown Road
LEXINGTON, Ky. — A woman has been arrested and charged following a shooting Friday afternoon that left a female victim with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Lexington Police Department.
Officers responded to the 4100 block of Leestown Road around 2:05 p.m. after receiving a report of a disorder with a weapon. Upon arrival, police located the female victim, who was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Diamond Pass, 29, was arrested shortly after the incident. She has been charged with first-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, second-degree criminal mischief, and convicted felon in possession of a handgun. Pass is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
The incident marks the latest shooting investigation in the Lexington area, following other shooting investigations in recent months.
