LEXINGTON, Ky. — Andi Johnson, Chief Policy Officer and Director of Regional Engagement at Commerce Lexington, has earned the Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) designation from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

The CCE is recognized as the highest professional designation in the chamber of commerce profession and is the only globally recognized certification program exclusive to the chamber industry. The program assesses knowledge of core chamber management areas including management, planning and development, membership, communications, and revenue and operations.

Johnson brings extensive experience in public policy and government relations to the role. Prior to joining Commerce Lexington, Johnson worked in the Office of U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell and the Office of the Kentucky Lt. Governor. Johnson holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky's Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown College.

Commerce Lexington President and CEO Robert L. Quick also holds the CCE designation, along with the Institute for Organization Management (IOM) certification. Johnson recently earned the IOM certification as well, completing 96 hours of continuing education through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
