LEXINGTON, Ky. — Haylee Tucker, a recent graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, has been selected to serve as the 2026-27 state reporter for Kentucky FFA, according to Fayette County Public Schools. Tucker was nominated by a committee composed of graduating senior FFA members and was elected unanimously by the delegate body in June.

As a member of the FFA chapter at Locust Trace AgriScience Center, Tucker maintains her affiliation with the program despite her high school graduation. Kentucky FFA state officers undertake extensive training and travel thousands of miles annually to represent the organization at agricultural meetings, regional FFA events, and other official functions.

Tucker's selection recognizes her demonstrated leadership within the agriculture education community. Her role as state reporter will include managing public information programs with local and state media, releasing news about FFA activities, and serving as an official representative of the organization during travel across Kentucky.

Kentucky FFA, which comprises more than 25,000 middle and high school students, operates 195 chapters across 115 of the state's 120 counties. The organization is structured around 12 state officer positions that lead the statewide efforts in agricultural education and leadership development.
