LEXINGTON, Ky. — The University of Kentucky will bring the fourth finalist for dean of the Lewis Honors College to campus for public review, as the institution completes its national search for new leadership of the college.

The candidate will participate in an open forum at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 28 in room U135 of Lewis Hall, allowing members of the UK community to assess the finalists' qualifications. Those unable to attend in person may view the forum via Zoom, according to UK's Office of the Provost.

The university has selected four initial finalists from a wide pool of candidates for the position. The names and CVs of finalists will be made available to the UK community 24 hours prior to their first meeting on campus on the search website.

Following each forum, a recording and a confidential online survey about the candidate will be made available for 48 hours, enabling the university community to provide structured feedback on each finalist's strengths and areas for development.

The Lewis Honors College provides enriching honors education experiences to students from all degree-granting colleges at the university, with its curriculum featuring small, seminar-style classes and requiring 30 hours of honors coursework alongside a senior thesis. UK Provost Robert S. DiPaola will make the final selection after receiving feedback from the search committee and campus community.

Supervisors are encouraged to work with their team members to allow participation in the open forums. The position comes as the college seeks a permanent dean following the departure of its founding leadership.
