Kentucky announces fifth cohort of Innovative Teacher Fellows
The Kentucky Department of Education's Division of Innovation has selected educators for the fifth cohort of the Innovative Teacher Fellowship program, recognizing teachers committed to transforming education across the commonwealth.
According to Kentucky Teacher, this cohort of educators will continue advancing the vision of United We Learn by implementing innovative instructional practices, engaging in meaningful professional learning, and fostering collaboration to transform teaching and learning across Kentucky classrooms.
The Innovative Teacher Fellowship program provides professional learning, teacher leadership opportunities and innovative project development and implementation to directly impact student learning experiences. The program engages teacher leaders from across the Commonwealth in professional networking, collaboration, project development, and leadership and advocacy opportunities.
Participants in the program will design, implement, reflect on, and share classroom projects centered on three big ideas of the United We Learn vision: vibrant learning experiences, accelerating innovation—especially in assessment—and collaborating with communities.
