LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky senior center Coleton Price has earned a spot on The Rimington Trophy preseason watch list for the nation's top center, the organization announced. Price, who transferred to Kentucky for the 2026 season after three years at Baylor, represents continued offensive line recognition under first-year head coach Will Stein.

The Bowie, Texas native becomes the second Wildcats lineman to garner preseason national honors this offseason, joining offensive lineman Lance Heard on the Outland Trophy watch list. CBS Sports ranked Kentucky's offensive line as the nation's third-best unit entering the season.

Price logged a team-high 935 offensive snaps as a sophomore at Baylor while allowing just 10 total pressures on 449 pass-blocking snaps. As a redshirt sophomore, he allowed just one sack on 526 pass-block snaps and earned All-Big 12Offensive Linemen Second Team selection by Pro Football Network College. His junior season saw him log 842 snaps with a Pro Football Focus pass-block grade of 83.6 and a run-block grade of 69.5, allowing just one sack on 526 pass-block snaps.

The Rimington Trophy committee worked with Pro Football Focus to narrow the list to 40 centers, using play-by-play grading data combined with school nominations. Pro Football Focus ranked Price as one of the top five returning centers in the country entering his first season with the Wildcats. Baylor's offense ranked among the nation's elite during his tenure, with the Bears finishing fourth nationally in fewest tackles for loss allowed and producing a top-20 scoring offense during his first season commanding the line.

Price joins 39 other college centers on the preseason watch list competing for the award given annually to the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision's most outstanding center.
