LEXINGTON, Ky. — More than 120 of Kentucky's finest artists and craftspeople will showcase their work at the Kentucky Crafted Market, returning to the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park from March 6-8, according to an announcement from the Kentucky Tourism, Arts & Heritage Cabinet.

The Market opens exclusively to wholesale buyers on Friday, March 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., before welcoming the general public Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free for public visitors.

The event features live music, artist demonstrations, hands-on activities, and a wide range of fine art and crafts, including clay, fiber, glass, wood, metal and jewelry. The Market also offers local food products, publishers and art activities designed for children and families.

"The Market is about more than shopping, it's about supporting small businesses and investing in the artists who strengthen our communities and local economies," said Chris Cathers, executive director of the Kentucky Arts Council. "We are excited to welcome more than 100 returning exhibitors this year and invite everyone to support Kentucky artists by buying local and handmade."

The 2026 Market will welcome 16 artists for the first time, highlighting continued growth in Kentucky's creative economy. Exhibitors are selected through a rigorous jury process, ensuring quality and diversity of work displayed at the premier showcase.

The Kentucky Horse Park is located off Interstate 75 in Lexington. Parking costs $10, and service animals are welcome, though all other pets are prohibited in the Alltech Arena.
