KYTC warns of nighttime lane closures on Bryan Station Road
LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will conduct nighttime resurfacing operations on Bryan Station Road (KY 57) in Fayette County, with alternating lane closures expected to affect traffic flow during the work, according to a KYTC District 7 press release.
Paving operations are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 7, and Thursday, Oct. 8, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. The work will take place on the stretch of KY 57 between New Circle Road and Interstate 75, covering approximately 1.14 miles. Motorists are advised to use extra caution in the affected area and should expect potential delays during the scheduled work hours.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said all closures and work schedules are tentative and subject to change based on weather conditions, emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances. For real-time traffic updates and conditions, drivers can visit GoKy.ky.gov.
Bryan Station Road is a major corridor in Lexington connecting northern parts of the city to I-75. The nighttime scheduling of the resurfacing work is intended to minimize disruption to daytime traffic, though commuters should plan for potential delays if traveling through the area during evening and early morning hours.
