
Bryan Station routs Scott County in boys soccer showcase
Bryan Station dominated Scott County High School with an 8–1 victory in boys soccer, dominating in the season-opening road contest. Lafayette fell to Russell High School 2–1 at home.
Paul Laurence Dunbar's girls volleyball team had a dominant night, sweeping three opponents: Oneonta High School 2–0, Crestview High School 2–0, and Highland Christian Academy 2–0. The Lady Bulldogs' strong start comes as they build on a successful program. Lexington Catholic also excelled in volleyball, posting back-to-back shutout victories at Franklin County High School: defeating Boyle County High School 3–0 and Franklin County High School 3–0.
Sayre girls volleyball topped Frankfort Christian Academy 2–0 at home. Lexington Christian fell to Sayre 0–2 at home, and Henry Clay lost to Adair County High School 0–2.
Bryan Station's girls soccer team struggled with losses to Pulaski County High School 1–5 and North Hardin High School 1–2 at Elizabethtown High School.
