LEXINGTON, Ky. — Lextran will implement service adjustments to four bus routes beginning Sunday, August 16, aimed at enhancing the reliability and timeliness of the transit system's offerings across the community.

Routes 3 and 5, which serve Tates Creek Road and Nicholasville Road respectively, will undergo small route pattern changes to avoid two left turns at busy traffic lights near Walmart at Nichols Park. The adjustments will not remove, miss, or add any stops on either route.

Route 10, which serves the Hamburg Pavilion area, will see a schedule change with the final Transit Center departure moved to 8:10 p.m. This change will result in the last weekday arrival to the Costco and Polo Club locations occurring at 7:51 p.m. instead of the current 8:39 p.m.

Route 51, the night service operating on Woodhill Drive, will remove Stop 903 at Richmond near Southland Christian Church. Passengers needing service at that location will be able to use Route 11, which will continue serving the stop until 8:45 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 p.m. on weekends.

All other Lextran routes will remain unchanged. Customers with questions about the changes can contact Lextran's customer service from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday by phone or through the agency's online contact form.
