LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky Wildcats will look for their first win of the season when No. 4 Ohio State comes to town for a Tuesday night matchup at the Bell Soccer Complex, according to UK Athletics.

Kentucky is winless through four games this season, standing at 0-2-2 after recording draws against Western Michigan and Evansville and losses to Louisville and Virginia Tech. The Wildcats have shown versatility in their scoring attack, with five different players finding the net so far. Midfielder Yasha Schaerer and forwards Costa Iliadis, Tom Keller, Michael Lee and Thomas Berteotti have all scored. Iliadis leads the team with three assists in four appearances.

Ohio State brings an undefeated record to Lexington. The Buckeyes improved to 4-0 with a 5-0 victory over Northern Kentucky in their most recent game. Ohio State has proven difficult to score against, allowing no goals through their first four matches. The team defeated Virginia Tech in its season opener, then recorded consecutive shutouts against DePaul and Memphis. Forward Isaiah Chisolm leads the Ohio State attack with seven goals.

The teams have met 16 times previously, splitting their all-time series 6-6-4. Their last matchup came during the 2023 season, when Ohio State defeated Kentucky 3-0. This will mark the 17th meeting between the programs.

The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will stream live on ESPN+. The event is designated as heroes and first responders' night, inviting local first responders to attend and be recognized at halftime. Fans in attendance will receive UK men's soccer scarves.
