A quiet close to Friday evening across the city. Lexington Fire responded to a couple of calls, but nothing major to report as we turn the page.

Looking ahead through the overnight hours, we'll see clear skies continuing with temperatures dropping to around thirty-eight degrees. No rain expected.

Earlier today brought some excitement to Churchill Downs. Always a Runner took the hundred and fifty-second Kentucky Oaks, making history as the first to run under the lights in prime time.

The city rests easy tonight under these clear May skies. Porch lights glowing softly along the quiet streets.
