LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will close a section of KY 37 in Boyle County on Monday, April 13, for cross drain replacement work, according to a KYTC District 7 press release.

KY 37 (Forkland Road) will be closed between mile points 0.0 and 1.7 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting. The closure is part of routine maintenance on the roadway, which runs entirely within Boyle County from KY 243 near Forkland to US 127 bypass west of Danville.

Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes during the closure, including KY 1108 (Mitchellsburg Knob) and KY 243. Drivers should use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone, the KYTC advised.

All work and closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and may change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways. For real-time traffic updates and road condition information, motorists can visit GoKY.ky.gov.
