LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will close lanes on Interstate 75 in Fayette County for two nights next week to repair potholes on a bridge deck, according to a KYTC District 7 press release.

Work is scheduled from 6 p.m. to midnight on Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15, weather permitting. The closures will affect southbound lanes near mile point 117, approximately 2 miles south of Exit 120 at the bridge over Interstate 64.

On April 14, the fast lane will be closed, while the slow lane will be closed on April 15. The Transportation Cabinet advises motorists to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone during the scheduled repairs.

The work is tentative and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances, according to the release. Motorists can find real-time traffic updates and road condition information at GoKY.ky.gov.

KYTC District 7 covers 12 counties in central Kentucky, including Fayette, Madison, Jessamine, Bourbon, Clark, Scott, Woodford, Mercer, Montgomery, Garrard, Boyle and Anderson counties.
