
KYTC schedules I-75, New Circle Road shoulder work next week
LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will conduct scheduled shoulder maintenance work on Interstate 75 and Kentucky 4 (New Circle Road) in Fayette County next week, according to a press release from KYTC District 7.
The maintenance work is planned for June 1 through 5 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily. On I-75, crews will work on the southbound shoulder at Exit 99 to U.S. 25 and on the northbound shoulder at Exit 104 to Kentucky 418. On New Circle Road, work will take place on the westbound shoulder at Exit 6 to Kentucky 1681.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution in these work areas and watch for signage and crew personnel. The KYTC noted that all work and closures remain tentative and subject to change based on weather, emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances beyond the department's control.
