KYTC schedules lane closures for Boyle County intersection work
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is advising motorists of lane closures associated with a concrete intersection improvement project in Boyle County at the intersection of U.S. 127B (Danville Bypass) and U.S. 150 (Perryville Road), according to a KYTC press release. The work is part of District 7's ongoing infrastructure improvements in the region.
Beginning at 6 p.m. on July 19, the left-turn lane and fast lane on northbound U.S. 127B and the right-turn lane and slow lane on southbound U.S. 127B will be closed through Friday, July 24. A second set of closures will begin at 5 a.m. on Monday, July 27, affecting the right-turn lane and slow lane on northbound U.S. 127B and the left-turn lane and fast lane on southbound U.S. 127B through Friday, July 31. All movements through the intersection will remain available during both periods.
The closures are necessary to allow construction crews to build new concrete approaches at the intersection. The KYTC notes that all work is scheduled tentatively and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances. Motorists are urged to use extra caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone.
