The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advised motorists of mobile operations scheduled on Interstate 75 southbound in Scott County for maintenance work from 5 p.m. to midnight between mile points 138 and 133, according to a KYTC District 7 press release.

Single-lane closures will move with crews as work progresses along the interstate. Motorists are advised to use extra caution and watch for crews working in the area.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said all work and closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the department's control. Motorists can stay informed about traffic conditions through GoKY or smartphone navigation apps like Waze.

KYTC District 7 covers Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford counties. The area between mile points 133 and 138 passes through northern Scott County north of Georgetown.
