
Henry Clay Girls Soccer Crushes Boyle County in Dominant Road Win
Henry Clay dominated Boyle County on the road Tuesday night, cruising to a 7-0 shutout victory in girls soccer. The Blue Devils' offensive firepower was on full display in what stands as the night's most dominant result across Lexington-area high school sports.
In boys soccer, Lexington Christian continued its strong season with a resounding 9-2 victory over Trinity Christian Academy on the road. The Eagles' explosive offensive output highlighted a winning evening for the Lexington program. Frederick Douglass also earned a win at home, shutting out Conner High School 3-0. Henry Clay boys, however, suffered a setback, falling 2-5 at Larry A Ryle High School.
Volleyball saw mixed results for Lexington schools. Henry Clay improved to 3-1 against Trinity Christian Academy on the road, while Tates Creek topped Frankfort High School 3-0 at home. Lexington Catholic blanked George Rogers Clark 3-0 on the road, and Lexington Christian defeated Madison Southern 3-1 at home. Bryan Station fell 0-3 at Great Crossing High School.
