Rolling roadblocks scheduled on I-75 in Scott County for pothole repairs
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has rescheduled rolling roadblock operations on Interstate 75 in Scott County for pothole repairs on July 20 and July 21, weather permitting, according to a press release from KYTC District 7.
The operations were originally scheduled for July 13 and July 14 but have been moved to the following week. On Monday, July 20, rolling roadblocks will affect I-75 northbound from mile point 120 to mile point 142 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. On Tuesday, July 21, southbound lanes will be impacted in the same corridor during the same hours.
Motorists should expect temporary delays while traveling through the work zone. KYTC District 7 oversees 12 central Kentucky counties, and the agency notes that all work is scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change based on weather, emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances.
For real-time traffic updates during the operations, motorists can use GoKY or Waze on their smartphones. Drivers are encouraged to use extra caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone.
