Taylor Drive closure scheduled for drainage work May 11-18
LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is advising motorists of a scheduled closure on Taylor Drive at Leestown Road for drainage pipe installation, according to a statement from KYTC District 7.
The closure begins Monday, May 11 at 6 a.m. and continues through the end of the day Monday, May 18, weather permitting. Motorists should use alternate routes including Old Leestown Road and Boiling Springs Drive during the closure period.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet urged drivers to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work area. All work and closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and may be subject to change due to weather, emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances, the agency said.
