LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government's Technical Review Committee is scheduled to consider 19 development and subdivision proposals during a meeting Wednesday, August 26, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Phoenix Building's third-floor conference room.

The Technical Review Committee brings together members of various governmental agencies and utility providers to discuss technical issues related to proposed development plans and plats before they advance to the Planning Commission.

Among the projects scheduled for technical review are eight final subdivision plans for the Clark Property at 1551 Deer Haven Lane in Council District 12. The eight units—labeled 4-A through 4-H—all appear on the agenda with project contact EA Partners and an approval deadline of November 1, 2026.

The agenda also includes two major development plans. A development plan for J Forbing & Sons and Hayman Subdivision, known as "The Standard at Lexington," is set to be reviewed for properties at 633 S. Broadway, 441 Hayman Lane, 653 Lower Street, and Chair Avenue in Council District 11. The proposal has an approval deadline of November 1.

Additionally, a Ramsey Sullivan Phase 3 development plan at 2601 Spurr Road in Council District 2 is scheduled for consideration.

The committee will also consider three zoning development plans, including a project at 224, 226, 228, and 230 E. High Street and other downtown locations in Council District 3, a Berry Crest project at Pasadena Drive and Nicholasville Road in Council District 10, and a Turner Commons development at 1409 N. Forbes Road and West Main Street in Council District 11.

The agenda also lists eight postponed items from previous committee meetings, including projects with approval deadlines ranging from January through October 2026. These include a South Broadway Place development in Council District 10, a Tommy's Car Wash development plan at Remington Drive in Council District 2, and a Clarion Hotel expansion at Griffin Gate Center in Council District 2.

All plans are required to conform to Article 5 of the Land Subdivision Regulations and Article 21 of the Zoning Ordinance, unless a specific waiver is granted by the Planning Commission. The next Technical Committee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23.
