UK Golf Lands Division II Standout Gabriel Hull
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky men's golf has added Gabriel Hull, a transfer from Emmanuel University in Georgia, to its 2026-27 roster, head coach Gator Todd announced on Tuesday, according to UK Athletics.
Hull established himself as a standout during his freshman year at Emmanuel in the 2025-26 season, collecting two tournament wins and five top-5 finishes while posting a 72.1 scoring average across 36 rounds. The South Daytona, Florida native earned Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year honors and was selected to the Golf Coaches Association of America NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region Team.
"We're excited to welcome Gabe to our UK golf family," Todd said. "He's a perfect fit for our program. He's a winner with a lot of potential and his ceiling is through the roof."
At the NCAA Division II National Championship, Hull tied for 16th place with a 6-under par score, including a final round 66. He also finished third at the Conference Carolinas Championship, helping Emmanuel secure its first conference title in program history.
Hull's recent accomplishments include winning the Press Thornton Future Masters championship in June, one of junior golf's most prestigious tournaments, with a combined score of 11-under par (65-63-71). He is currently ranked No. 420 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
Todd, who joined Kentucky in 2023 from Vanderbilt, where he served as associate head coach, has been building the Wildcats program during his tenure. Hull joins Kentucky after the program showed significant improvement during the 2024-25 season, highlighted by multiple top-5 tournament finishes in the spring.
