LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will close lanes on New Circle Road (KY 4) for three days next week to repair potholes on bridge decks, according to a traffic advisory released by KYTC District 7.

Work is scheduled daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, on the eastbound outer loop at three locations. On Monday, July 27, the right lane will be closed at mile point 3.9 near the Parkers Mill Road overpass. On Tuesday, July 28, the left lane will close near mile point 1.4 at the Clays Mill Road overpass. On Wednesday, July 29, crews will close the left lane near mile point 17.5 at the Chinoe Road overpass.

The Cabinet has emphasized that one lane will remain open throughout the work period, though motorists should expect delays. Drivers are advised to reduce speed and watch for personnel and equipment in the work zones. Signage and flashing arrows will mark the ongoing operations.

All scheduled work and closures remain tentative and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other unforeseen factors, the Cabinet noted.
