LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will close a lane on U.S. 60 in Fayette County on Friday for tree removal operations near the Bordeaux Drive area, according to a KYTC press release.

Beginning Friday, July 10, weather permitting, the inbound right lane of Versailles Road from mile point 5 to mile point 5.1 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for tree cleanup. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone, and motorists are advised to use extra caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work area.

The Kentucky Department of Highways District 7 oversees the construction and maintenance of highways in 12 central Kentucky counties, including Fayette.
