The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will convert a traffic signal to an all-way stop on U.S. 68X in Millersburg on Wednesday, Aug. 26, according to a press release from KYTC District 7.

Work is scheduled at mile point 3.8 at the intersection of Main Street and Fifth Street. The conversion work is expected to occur on Aug. 26, and motorists are advised to use extra caution and watch for crews working in the area.

U.S. Route 68 runs through the center of Millersburg, a small Bourbon County community. The traffic signal conversion is part of ongoing maintenance and safety improvements managed by KYTC District 7, which is responsible for maintaining federal highways and state highways in the region.

All work and closures are scheduled tentatively and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the department's control, KYTC said. Motorists can monitor traffic conditions using GoKY or Waze on their smartphones.

District 7 serves Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott, and Woodford counties in Central Kentucky.
