
Lane closure rescheduled on U.S. 60 for tree removal
LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has rescheduled tree removal work on U.S. 60 in Fayette County from July 10 to Tuesday, July 14, due to weather conditions.
The inbound right lane of U.S. 60, also known as Versailles Road, will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between mile point 5 and mile point 5.1 near Bordeaux Drive. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone during the tree cleanup operations.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists to use extra caution in the area and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone. Drivers should allow additional time for travel on Versailles Road during the scheduled closure period.
