Lane Closures Scheduled on US-68 in Mercer County for Drainage Work
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will reduce traffic to one lane on Lexington Road (US-68) in Mercer County next week for scheduled drainage work, according to a KYTC District 7 press release. Motorists should expect delays and exercise caution in the work zone.
The lane closures will affect the roadway between mile points 18 and 20 from Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12. Temporary traffic signals will direct traffic during the work, which is scheduled daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drivers are advised to follow all traffic control instructions and watch for signage and personnel in the area.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reminds motorists that all work and closures remain tentative and may change due to weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. For up-to-date traffic conditions and real-time road information, drivers can visit GoKY.ky.gov.
