Henry Clay had an equally impressive outing, shutting out Sayre 4-0 at Sayre Athletic Complex. The Blue Devils continued their strong form with the dominant road win.

Lexington Catholic picked up a 2-1 victory over Paul Laurence Dunbar at Lexington Catholic High School, with the Knights' defense holding steady down the stretch.

Frederick Douglass also won decisively, defeating Model Laboratory High School 5-2 on the road.

Tates Creek fell to Woodford County 5-1 at home in the night's only boys soccer loss for a Lexington-area school.

In girls volleyball, Lexington Christian earned a road win, defeating East Jessamine High School 3-1. However, Henry Clay suffered a 0-3 setback at Scott County High School, and Lafayette fell 1-3 to Paul Laurence Dunbar at home.
