The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will close multiple lanes at the intersection of KY 34 and U.S. 127B in Boyle County beginning Monday, July 13, as construction crews pour new concrete approaches as part of an ongoing intersection improvement project. The closures are expected to last through July 17, weather permitting.

According to the KYTC District 7 press release, the left-turn lanes and through lane on both eastbound and westbound directions on KY 34 (Lebanon Road) at mile point 12.2 will be closed. Right-turn lanes will remain open throughout the project.

Motorists should expect delays and use caution while traveling through the work zone. The KYTC recommends using GoKY.ky.gov for live traffic updates and road conditions. Drivers should watch for signage and personnel in the construction area.

The lane closures are part of a broader concrete intersection improvement initiative at the busy crossing. All work and closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change based on weather, emergencies, or other factors beyond the department's control.

KYTC District 7 oversees construction and maintenance of highways in 12 central Kentucky counties, including Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott, and Woodford.
