LEXINGTON, Ky. — The University of Kentucky softball team announced its 2026 fall schedule on Wednesday, featuring five exhibition games and the sixth annual Big Blue Boo celebration on October 17 at John Cropp Stadium.

Kentucky's fall slate opens with an in-state matchup against Louisville on September 13, followed by a home game against Eastern Kentucky on September 20. The Wildcats will host Georgetown College on September 25 and Danville Area Community College on October 3 in a doubleheader. The team's only away fall exhibition will take place October 4 in Oxford, Ohio, with a doubleheader against Miami.

Big Blue Boo 6 will feature Kentucky against Marshall on October 17 at 2 p.m. ET. The event, described as an annual Halloween-themed celebration combined with a fall festival, will be broadcast live on SEC Network+ and the ESPN app with free admission. The game marks the first time Marshall has participated in the Big Blue Boo, which entered its sixth season this fall.

All home games during the fall are free of admission. With the exception of the Big Blue Boo, home fall games will not have operating concession stands, though fans are welcome to bring their own food or drink into John Cropp Stadium, provided there is no alcohol.

The Big Blue Boo will include free admission, games, prizes, a fall festival and more, with gates opening to season ticket holders at noon ET and the general public at 12:30 p.m. ET. Food trucks and concessions will be operational throughout the event.
