The Council Work Session on Tuesday will consider authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet providing $223,000 in state funds, with a $56,000 local match, to repave Berea Road from Iron Works Pike to Georgetown Road. The General Government & Planning Committee will hear the annual Purchase of Development Rights review, reporting on 13 easements purchased this calendar year totaling nearly 300 acres, with eight farms under contract representing approximately 400 additional acres.
